    Flight Instructor

    Alex Lozano

    CFI / CFII, Commercial Multi-Engine

    Alex is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) and Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot. He has a passion for both aviation and education. His favorite part about being an instructor is watching new pilots overcome challenges and become thriving, safe pilots.

    Outside of aviation, Alex is a serial hobbyist who enjoys woodworking, chess, video games, and more. On his days off you can find him traveling the world. He has visited more than 17 countries in the last ten years.

    Alex is committed to safety and the future of aviation.

    Flight Instructor

    Gavin Scharf

    CFII, Single-Engine, Multi-Engine & Seaplane

    Gavin is a CFII with single-engine, multi-engine, and seaplane ratings, trained right here in the DFW area. He genuinely enjoys working with pilots at all stages, helping them build confidence, think ahead of the airplane, and develop strong, safe habits that stick.

    Gavin takes a lot of pride in being patient, approachable, and tailoring instruction to each student, while continuing to grow and sharpen his own skills every day.

    CFI, Commercial Pilot

    Alex Rodrigues is a dedicated flight instructor and commercial pilot who is passionate about helping students become safe, confident, and proficient aviators. He brings a professional, student-focused approach to every lesson, emphasizing strong decision-making, sound aeronautical knowledge, and practical flying skills.

    Alex enjoys mentoring pilots at every stage of training and strives to create a positive learning environment where students can achieve their goals while building confidence in the cockpit. Whether conducting ground instruction or flight training, he is committed to making learning both effective and enjoyable.

  • Will Robert
    Flight Instructor

    Will Robert

    CFI / CFII, Commercial Multi-Engine

    Will is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) and Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot dedicated to helping students achieve their aviation goals. He focuses on building confidence, sound decision-making, and a strong understanding of both the how and why behind safe flight operations.

    A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, Will brings a thoughtful and professional approach to instruction. Outside of aviation, he enjoys spending time on the golf course.

    Will is committed to continuous growth and strives to make every training experience productive, engaging, and rewarding.

  • Claudia Carver
    Flight Instructor

    Claudia Carver

    CFI, Instrument-Rated Commercial Pilot

    Claudia Carver is a Certified Flight Instructor and instrument-rated commercial pilot who is passionate about helping students build confidence, strong aviation fundamentals, and the judgment needed to become safe, capable pilots.

    Originally from Pennsylvania, Claudia relocated to Texas to continue her flight training and pursue a career in aviation. She brings a professional, encouraging approach to instruction and emphasizes safety, sound decision-making, and continuous growth throughout every stage of training.

    Outside of flight instruction, Claudia serves as Social Media Chair for the Women in Aviation North Texas Chapter, supporting outreach and opportunities for aspiring aviators. She also enjoys creating aviation content and spending time with her dog, Piper, named after her favorite training aircraft.

    Tony Arnold is a dedicated flight instructor and aviation professional passionate about developing safe, confident pilots. With a strong foundation in general aviation and hands-on instructional experience, Tony combines technical expertise with practical, real-world training to help students progress efficiently and safely.

    Known for his clear teaching style and high standards, he is committed to building skill, discipline, and sound aeronautical decision-making in every pilot he trains.

    Jacko Villanueva

    Jacko Villanueva is a flight instructor who believes flying should be both disciplined and deeply rewarding. He brings a steady, practical approach to the cockpit, focusing on strong fundamentals, good judgment, and building real confidence, not just checking boxes.

    Jacko works closely with each student, adapting his instruction to fit their goals and pace, while holding them to a high standard of safety and professionalism. Whether someone is pursuing aviation as a career or simply chasing a lifelong dream, he is committed to helping them earn their wings the right way.
