Common Questions About Training
Take a discovery flight. You will fly the airplane with an instructor, see the training area and get a feel for how we teach. If you love it, we build a training plan around your goals, schedule and budget.
Two to three lessons per week is the sweet spot. Students who train consistently and study between lessons finish faster and spend less.
Not for your first lessons, but you will need at least a third-class FAA medical before you solo. We recommend scheduling it early with an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Part 61 lets us tailor the syllabus to you rather than a fixed schedule. It does not mean unstructured: every NTX student follows a defined curriculum with stage checks and completion standards.
Yes. Private, instrument, commercial, CFI, CFII and multi-engine are all offered, and our career instructors will be with you for the whole path.
